A limited photo book by Levi Thomas that explores escapism and nature where it should not be.

Name -

The trip began in Greece and ended in Austria. Originally, the book / zine was going to be titled the Greek word for “Enter” (μπαίνω, pronounced baíno) and the German/Austrian word for “Exit” (Ausgang pronounced as OWS-gahng) to represent the journey’s start and end points. I later decided against this, but kept the English name as it still encapsulates the process and thematic approach throughout.

Process -

To avoid complicating things and to make this process more of a method of expression, I shot everything featured with two point-and-shoot film cameras. This approach allowed me to focus mostly on the subject matter and less on the technicalities, retaining a candid, raw, and real feeling in the images.
